Zebra Publications Superman 4

This is one of the earliest South African reprint comics. Zebra Publications were the first to reprint DC Comics in 1954.

This is Zebra Publications Superman 4 - the cover is taken from DC Comics' Superman 73 (1951).
 It contains two stories, taken from DC Comics' Superman 56 (1948):
"The Man who couldn't Laugh"
"The Prankster Picks a Partner"
Colour cover, Black-and-White interior, 24 pages.
Smaller than the original comic size - dimensions 176mm x 244mm.

Mimosa Giant Woeste Weste 6 in Afrikaans

This is Giant Woeste Weste 6, published by Mimosa (SA Magazine Co) in 1963. Mimosa produced  reprints in English, and some Afrikaans language translations.
It reprints this story from DC Comics' Western Comics 84 (1960):
Pow-Wow Smith: "The Other Pow-Wow Smith"
Also reprinted is this story from DC Comics' Western Comics 77 (1959):
Wyoming Kid: "Clue of the Outlaw's Hat"

Also reprinted is this story from DC Comics' Hopalong Cassidy 113 (1956):

"The Strange Capture of Rawhide Raney!"

Also reprinted are these two stories from DC Comics' Tomahawk 24 (1954):

Mimosa Tomahawk 2

This is Tomahawk 2, published by Mimosa (SA Magazine Co) +/- 1963-1964.
It reprints the cover from DC Comics' Tomahawk 85 (1963):

32 pages,  glossy colour cover, black and white newsprint interior.

Mimosa Western Comics Digest 14

This rare South African reprint was published in 1961 by Mimosa Publications (S.A. Magazine Co.).
Glossy Colour Cover and Interior pages are Black-and-White newsprint
These titles were printed in a smaller size (186x132mm) compared to the original DC Comics title.
Cover and Interior printed in colour.
The printing reproduction from the original was very good quality. This issue is only 24 pages.
This is one of the seven first titles that Mimosa started reprinting in 1959 (Western Comics, Tales of the Unexpected, Falling in Love, Mystery in Space, Romances, Batman and All-Star Western).

It reprints all three stories from DC Comics' Western Comics 83 (1960).

Mimosa Western Picture Library Digest 11

This rare South African reprint was published in 1961 by Mimosa (S.A. Magazine Co.).
Cover and Interior pages are newsprint - so after being read and swopped a few times they would likely be falling apart and thrown away.
These titles were printed in a smaller size (161x116mm) compared to the original DC Comics title.
Cover printed in colour, interior in black-and-white.
The printing reproduction from the original was very good quality. This issue is only 24 pages.

It contains three stories from DC Comics' Hopalong Cassidy 126 (1957) and one story from DC Comics' All-American Western 126 (1952). The Cover Image used by Mimosa does not match the issue's content.
